Features
What it does.
Fill in the details. The layout is already done.
Client, line items, tax, due date. FifthInvoice puts them on a clean, readable invoice with your logo and your numbering. Clients and services you’ve billed before are saved, so a monthly retainer takes a few seconds.
Send it as a PDF or a link.
Download the PDF and attach it to your own email, or send the link. If you use the link, the invoice is marked Viewed when your client opens it, which answers the “did they get it?” question.
One list of what’s open and what’s paid.
Every invoice has a status: draft, sent, viewed, paid or overdue. Overdue is set for you when the due date passes. Paid is a click, because the money arrives in your bank account, not through us. If you work with a partner, you both see the same list.
Reminders, if you want them.
Turn on a reminder schedule per client and a short, plain email goes out before and after the due date. You can edit the wording. If you’d rather message the client yourself, leave it off.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up daily. Standard practice, but worth saying.
Yours to take with you
Every invoice downloads as a PDF and your whole list exports as CSV. If you leave, nothing is held back.
